This 20 day emergency response course leads to an FAQ Level 3 Certificate in Emergency Response Ambulance Driving. Our fully qualified instructors deliver a detailed training course to ambulance and patient transport drivers alike. The purpose of the this blue light course is to ensure delegates are fully-compliant with recent changes to S19 of the Road Safety Act 2006. This emergency response course teaches all attendees the necessary knowledge, skills, and understanding for driving an ambulance in an emergency.
Both our ambulance driver courses are approved by Qualsafe and Futurequals, two of the most-respected awarding bodies in the medical industry. We ensure that all qualifications awarded are derived from the latest evidence-based practice and that they adhere to all relevant industry guidelines. This includes those laid down by the Joint Royal Colleges Ambulance Liaison Committee (JRCALC).
Each of our trainers is a fully-trained paramedic, with long years of relevant, hands-on experience as an ambulance driver. Everything they talk about during the course, will be something they have encountered first-hand. As well has been medical professionals, they are also fully-trained facilitators, ensuring your delegates get the high standard of training they deserve.
Our courses are designed with the convenience of our delegates in mind. We normally run both courses from our training facility in Cheshire. However, we understand that it is not always feasible to have your team attend training sessions so far away. For this reason, if you have three or more members of staff ready to attend one of our courses, we can run it at a venue closer to your place of work. Simply give us to a call today, to see what we can do.
Here at MedTraining, our team of medical and educational professionals are with you every step of the way. From the moment you first make contact, we are there to guide you through the process. We provide you with study materials and a venue (if required), as well as our experienced and qualified paramedic experts as your trainers. Once the course is complete, we will see to it that all passing delegates receive their formal qualifications. If you or your team have any questions about the courses themselves, or the process by which we complete them, you only have to ask.
